Carothers 4oz. Antelope 4-Ply Water Repellent Nylon Taslan

Taslan is a nylon material that has been engineered to look and feel more like cotton. This fabric is resistant to penetration by water and wind, yet it is breathable, making it comfortable to wear. This nylon is extremely soft, provides a supple, yet slightly crisper drape, and, although thin, it can still be used for outerwear applications such as your traditional windbreaker. Laying at 57/58" wide, this nylon has a water repellent coating that is added at the factory, making it the perfect material for raincoats and trench coats. It might also be a good applicant for camping gear and outdoor tents. Slightly translucent, a lining isn't necessary but may be desirable for both additional structure and opacity. We highly recommend grabbing a swatch of this material, regardless of how you may want to use it.
